MAROLLES FLEAMARKET
WHERE
Place de Jeu du Balle, 1000, Bruxelles
OPENING TIMES
All year long, every day - 7 am to 2 pm. All stalls are ready at 8 am, but if you want to get the worm you should get there at 7.
WHAT YOU FIND
Forget for few hours those fleamarkets where jumble of items seem to be saved from rubbish and enter this fantastic world of brocante. Here the early bird makes the bargain - they are very welcome indeed. I personally saw a green note (€100!) sliding out of a wallet for a drawing, and that guy looked like an expert on that. You specifically find drawings, bikes, frames, a lot of furniture (armchairs, wardrobes, tables, sideboards, lamps and chandeliers, etc.), old postcards, trunks and many other things. It recalls the Court Saliya fleamarket in Nice, but things are less expensive. Haggling is possible!
FOOD
There are no foodtrucks but many places around the square serve a variety of food from breakfast to lunch.
